EFFECTIVE DATE: This Golf Club Warranty applies to purchases of Covered Products (as defined below) made in Australia and New Zealand from authorised Callaway South Pacific stockists on or after 1 January 2011. For purchases made prior to 1 January 2011, see the previous warranty information.

COVERED PRODUCTS: This Golf Club Warranty applies to genuine Callaway Golf® golf clubs purchased from authorised stockists in Australia and New Zealand on or after 1 January 2011 (the “Covered Products”). Certain Covered Products are sold with a serialized, anti-counterfeiting image-shift label (“Authentication Label”). The Authentication Label is found on drivers, #3 fairway woods, hybrids, putters and #8 irons. For a complete list of Australian and New Zealand authorised stockists, see our retail locator.

GENERAL WARRANTY COVERAGE: The Australian Consumer Law 2010 (“Australian Consumer Law”) and the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (“New Zealand Consumer Act”), as well as other laws in each of those jurisdictions imply certain conditions, warranties and undertakings, and give you other legal rights, in relation to the quality and fitness for purpose of products sold in Australia and New Zealand respectively. These rights cannot be modified nor excluded by any contract, other than as allowed under the respective laws. In Australia, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in this warranty shall modify or exclude the conditions, warranties and undertakings, and other legal rights, under the Australian Consumer Law or New Zealand Consumer Act.

EXPRESS MANUFACTURER’S GOLF CLUB WARRANTY: In addition to the protections of the Australian Consumer Law and New Zealand Consumer Act, all Covered Products supplied by Callaway South Pacific and purchased from an authorised stockist network in Australia and New Zealand also come with Callaway South Pacific's express manufacturer's warranty, which provides customers with additional benefits on top of the rights to which customers are entitled by law (“Golf Club Warranty”). This Golf Club Warranty gives you additional protection for your Covered Products, subject to the information, exclusions, terms and conditions below. If you require any further information or assistance please call Callaway South Pacific on 1800 217 777.

PROOF OF PURCHASE IS REQUIRED: Proof of purchase shall be required to be eligible for this Golf Club Warranty. Proof of purchase shall be in the form of a tax invoice or genuine purchase receipt. Certain Covered Product must also contain an Authentication Label, as described above.

WHAT IS COVERED: Callaway South Pacific warrants that Covered Products supplied by Callaway South Pacific and purchased from an authorised stockist in Australia and New Zealand shall be free of defects in material and workmanship for two years. Callaway South Pacific will, without charge to the consumer, repair or replace any such Covered Products that are defective or become defective during normal use within two years after the date of purchase from an authorised Callaway South Pacific stockist in Australia and New Zealand. At its option, Callaway South Pacific may replace the Covered Products with a new or refurbished product. Replacement of the product or any part thereof does not extend or restart the warranty term.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED: To the full extent permitted by law, this Golf Club Warranty does not apply to the following:

  • Damage caused by third parties;
  • Paint scratches, cosmetic blemishes or other normal wear and tear (although Callaway South Pacific may be able to fix such blemishes and scratches for a fee);
  • Damage or malfunctions resulting from alterations, abuse, misuse, deliberate damage, accident, fire, water damage, acts of God, tampering, unauthorised repairs, modifications, want of care or neglect;
  • Products purchased from a non-authorised stockist;
  • Products purchased outside of Australia or New Zealand;
  • Counterfeit products;
  • Products with missing or altered Authentication Labels and/or serial numbers; or
  • Products purchased for resale.

IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Callaway South Pacific will not accept any responsibility for confirming a product’s authenticity, and nor is our official stockist network in Australia or New Zealand authorised by Callaway to do so, if it does not include an Authentication Label and was not purchased from Callaway South Pacific or our authorised retail network in Australia or New Zealand. As noted above, certain rights are non-excludable under applicable law. To the extent, however, that any condition and/or warranty implied by custom, law or statute is excludable, such condition and/or warranty is hereby excluded. This does not affect any applicable consumer rights you have under the laws in Australia or New Zealand. Subject always to applicable law, Callaway South Pacific reserves the right to amend or revise this Golf Club Warranty at any time without notice. Please periodically review Callaway South Pacific’s website for the most current warranty and terms and conditions.
