Adam Gee

Player Bio

Adam Gee took up golf relatively late at the age of 15. He was encouraged to give golf a try after his friend Tom Abbot – now an anchor on the Golf Channel – introduced him to the game. Gee was a quick study and he eventually went on to play collegiately at the University of North Carolina. After finishing college, he worked in a golf centre before deciding to turn professional. He spent four years on the Challenge Tour and earned his EPGA card at the 2010 Qualifying Event.

Gee fired a final round 65 to earn his card and he credited the lucky beard he had grown out for bringing him good fortune. He cites Ben Hogan as his golfing inspiration and says he reads Hogan’s books religiously. Gee lists music, sports and cage fighting among his favorite activities when he is at home in London. He also uses an Odyssey Putter at Tour events.
